Dont you think it is an unjust move the ICC to ban runners for injured batsman in ODIs?

Perfectly justifiable. There are far too many rules in favour of batsmen in limited overs cricket, like no ball free hit, powerplay overs and the one bouncer for the over, to name a few. It's time ICC clamps down on giving too much luxury and leniency to batsmen.
