I want a dog but my parents won't let me have one. :(?

It sounds like your parents have their mind made up already, but if you can show your parents that you will feed water and walk it on a regular basis then that may help. Also, if you're old enough for a job, you may be able to come in at the angle that you will take care of pet expenses. As far as if you guys wont be home enough, though, that should be something to concider. I take my pups to a doggy day care or a friends house if I am going to be gone more than 6 hours as they will get bored and chew things up and have to go to the bathroom.
