Why are people fascinated wit Lucifer/the Devil?

A big misconception. Lucifer turned against God because he wanted his own way. He turned on God before man was even created, so when God created man, Satan decided to try and ruin Gods creation which was good. Satan hates mankind because man was created in Gods image, spiritually. We remind Satan of God, and since he was banished from heaven he now roams the earth. This is part of Gods plan. God is creating an army against Satan and Satans army dwells in the hearts of the wicked. By Satans army I mean demons, which we know by name, pride, fear, loneliness, rejection, and so on. These are not feelings that man was born with but feelings that man has been posessed with, demons that cause man to sin and fall. Satans doom is coming very soon, and he knows it. So before you go on and defend the devil, realize that the devil does not need friends and nor will he favor mankind, but all who perish with Satan are his captives. Follow the devil and you will be enslaved forever, follow God and you will be free.
