Disobedience of traffic control device?

Hi, today I was pulled over by the state police in Pennsylvania. I was cited $110.50 for Disobedience of a traffic control device. I am 16 on my permit, and I was driving with my brother, who is 19. The accompanying driver is supposed to be 21. The officer let me off easy. Will my insurance rates go up for a ticket that is Disobedience of a traffic control device? It doesn't seem as bad as a speeding ticket, so im not really sure what to expect.
