How do I get my baby bearded dragon to eat?

I bought him on June 27th this year which is yesterday and he hasn't eaten anything yet. I checked and he's healthy and has all of the correct lighting. He is 4 months old. How do I get him to eat? Thanks. I have been trying to feed him small crickets, meal worms, and I have a salad in his bowl.
