I have a girl situation. I need advice/opinions outside the realm of my d-bag friends!!!!?

Ok uhh first of all im 16, and i do not go drinking at bars or go bar hopping, but besides that i have experienced the exact same thing,with my current girlfriend of almost a year. Honestly, u have to wait for when its right, and not randomly do it..or especially at a bar, or restaurant..and no way in hell should u get a cuple of drinks in you,or her for that matter. You need the moment to be a moment of solitude, when it is just you and her and nothing else matters, and well hey if she wants the same things as you then trust me..she'd want it to be special..so wait, dont plan it, and DONT DRINK prior to this, cuz if she is as beautifully amazing as u say so..then u'll want to remember every second of it clearly..trust me...me and my gf are going to have our year anniv. on the 20th of june..so guy to guy ..just wait for it to be right...thats the best i can do at my age...good luck
