Arowana Fish care.....?

You don't need to feed it live fish. I owned about 4 silver arowanas. there are pellets that you can purchase in the pet store especially made for arowanas. you can give a few pellets or just as much as it'll eat in a few minutes. once it gets big enough, you can buy feeder goldfish or guppies and just leave them in the aquarium with the arowana. you shouldn't give them too many live foods too often. one thing that i do recommend is getting a cover for your aquarium, and once it gets bigger, you should secure the top so that it cannot be opened. or you can put something heavy on the top. in my experience, all of my arowanas have jumped out of the tank, and lifted the cover, even with heavy things on top, and still was able to get out. they do become quite strong once they get big. hope that helps :)
