My Cat Burned her Nose on the Gas Stove?

being the lazy and unobservant teen girl that i am i didnt notice my little tabby cat Cricket walk up to the gas stove and put her nose right up against it. now i would have figured she'd be smart enough to know it was hot, but i learned my lesson. we just moved here so we dont have phones yet so i couldnt call the vet and ask what to do and my dad's at work, so i scooped Cricket up and got a cloth wet and dabbed her nose real gently with it. i've been keeping an eye on her and so far her nose isnt blistering. she seems a little upset over it (as right she should) sitting in the middle of the room crying, not letting me touch her. im giving her some space and all. what should i do now? did i even do the right thing? is there something more i could be doing? i have no cell service and only a moped so i cant call or take her to the vet. so what do i do? please help
